do I see 10" in benton county? if that moves lightly to the east, the kings river & Long creek could be roaring by saturday.

I wouldnt be surpirsed to see beaver at or near 1128 by then.

Tried more of 45 degree banks today. Didnt fish pee gravel, more small to fist size chunk rock. Looked to keep the boat on 25-30 foot within a cast to the bank. Thought we may find some staged deeper. Looked for transition type banks from chunk to slighhly smaller.

 

Gravel is the deal. Doesn't have to be straight pea. Wood is a definite plus.

If you are fishing pockets, they will come and go pretty quickly.
