Old dog 417 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I've been a long time reader and recently joined OAF. My conscience has gotten the best of me so I'm attempting to post my fishing experiences in an effort to repay all I've learned from this great site. Thanks to all who post here. Here goes my first attempt... Launched from Ruark west about 1 PM. Wind South/Southeast about 12-15 mph. Water temp 64. Fished channel swings and points with bottom bouncers. Used crawler harness, fire-tiger blade color, red slow death hook, 20- 25 FOW. Fished until 4 PM. Caught 6 Wally's, 3 being keepers, and 3 bass. Lots of boats on the water and the overflow parking lot at ramp was in use. I hope to go again Thursday and will try casting a jig/crawler at the same type of locations to see if that method will produce as well. Tight lines to ya! mikeak, Nathan S, Phil Lilley and 5 others 8
"eyes"haveit Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 It seemed Fire tiger was definitely the preferred color . Nathan S 1
