Stump bumper Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 I just saw there was 1-3 inches and flash floods. How many more trees is that going to float down the lake and how long before it hits the flood gates this time? Will the lake muddy all the way to the dam? Might not be days of this but as full as the lake is, I think it will be enough to set back what little clearing that was going on.
Stump bumper Posted May 20, 2017 Author Posted May 20, 2017 I just saw on the flood warning that between 3-5.5 inches of rain has fallen in the past 24 hours. By my crude estimate that should translate to a 3-4 foot rise in the lake in the next 24 hours. That will mean opening the flood gates and muddy water and trash moving further North. For those that like flipping I guess this is good, be careful on plane since muddy water hides big logs quite well. Any thoughts? Dan the fisherman 1

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 20, 2017 Root Admin Posted May 20, 2017 Saw this on FB... Corp sent me a text saying it will be 20k at noon. They should coordinate what they release to the public better. I'm sure it will be 20k - it's at 14k now.
