Back on the water

After a six week hiatus due to the flooding, I fished the middle Meramec on Friday. The river was in great condition, and the fish were reasonably active, though they weren't willing to chase search baits and preferred slow-moving, small soft plastics. My dad and I caught a number of fish in the 12-15" range, and the pictured 19" smallie was the largest of the day.
