5/21 Eagle Rock to Big M

Put in at 3:30 out at 8:30  Caught 4 right off the bat, point, with the  white/silver hula stick... went dead couldn't get anything going.   About 7:30 started seeing shad and caught 5 more. Spoon, fluke, and spook.  Had one blow up on the whopper and my reel fell off.  

 

Saw a young man pounding them... across the lake.. he came over and said the underspin had been hot.  Said he caught 50 or so... took pics for him of 16 pounds on five fish.. he then released. 

Really noticed the current after the wind died down.  They must be letting the water go.
