wuteversbitin424 Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 I'm heading up on Memorial day with the better half, 4 kids and grandpa. Not taking the boat as its too small for everyone and 2 of the 4 kiddos are 3 years old. With that said I'd still like to try and get them on some fish. I always fish Stockton so I'm not too familiar with pomme. I'd love to get on some cats if possible. Ant word on how they're doing and or some kid friendly bank spots near Nemo campground? Thanks guys and have a safe holiday weekend! Kevin- tho1mas 1
MOPanfisher Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 The entire lake side of the park is easy to fish from the bank. Of course it likely be full of boats and folks swimming. wuteversbitin424 1
wuteversbitin424 Posted May 27, 2017 Author Posted May 27, 2017 We're going to be up there all week. I'm counting on it clearing out after Monday
oneshot Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Was there Thursday and the Lake is still way up. Know there won't be any swimming and I wouldn't be surprised Ramps being closed. oneshot wuteversbitin424 1
MOPanfisher Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Negative, ramps are open and there will be people swimming, guaranteed. Lake is down roughly 10 feet from where it peaked at, and still another 10 plus to go to get normal, but fully accessible and useable. wuteversbitin424 1

Just when I was over there water was up in the Timber by the Dam and Dock was still way out there. Going back in the morning. oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 We never closed any of our ramps, some yiu had to use the parking lot but all were useable. Some of the licensed ramps around the lake were unusable but otherwise good to go. Docks by the dam are still not useable but you can see some of the handrails now so we are getting closer.

Ok figured it was like Truman. They will close Ramps. Of course it is bad when the Parking Lot is under water. Still going fishing in the morning. oneshot
