Members FishPharm Posted June 3, 2017 Members Posted June 3, 2017 Anyone catching any warmwater fish in the upper end of Taney? Considering spending a day from cooper creek to Branson area. I enjoy catching trout but would love some walleye or crappie for the deep fryer. Thanks!

I was hoping to find some from my boat but certainly I can't get up there at it's current water level
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 3, 2017 Root Admin Posted June 3, 2017 Sure you can... the lake level is 708, 7 feet above power pool. We sent people up there all day today. Stay in the middle, no problem.
Members FishPharm Posted June 4, 2017 Author Members Posted June 4, 2017 That's fantastic! The USGS website has it listed 101.78. I take it this is not correct. Thanks so much!
JestersHK Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 If you make it up by the dam I'd say focus towards the banks, the walleye are def up in the banks and slower moving water busting the shad. Fish the seams where the main channel hits the slower moving water and you'll find them. White bass were hitting hard tonight too, and putting up a great fight. Good luck out there.
