I know they do on T rock, there is a definite pattern there. Find some active feeding spots and almost always the walleye are on the bottom under them. I have done it it is fun !

I would think that depends on time of day and/or clouds, wind, etc. Seems like your search would be along points, flats and drop-offs. Just have to change depths until you find them.
