rangerman Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 9 eyes caught in between 6:45 and noon today.. Depths anywhere from 10-18 foot deep on the gravel..6 of 9 were keepers. All ove 17 inches with best 19.5. Rippin rap, snap jigged accounted for the two best. One on a trolling spoon and the rest on trolled chartreuse pearl flicker shads at 2.2mph. Also had a half dozen nice crappie in the mix. And the catfish all 10 or so of them annoyed the living hell out of me. They wacked crankbaits good though. Good luck safe fishing! duckydoty, BilletHead, Brad N Steph and 11 others 14
Kramr Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Doesn't get much better than that! Congrats! rangerman 1
lmt out Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 That's a really good day. I have noticed the average fish is better this year. A lot of 16 1/2 to 17 1/2 inch fish. It's hard to believe how much harder a 17" fish fight compared to a 15".
Walleyedmike Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Where the heck have you been ranger man? Welcome back. Great report! WM

I generally only fish Stockton a couple times of year, spend my time at bull shoals in the summer. I was really I,pressed with the weight on the Stockton fish this year, they also have some fat in them. Hopefully it only gets better.
