AGFC Trout Managent Plan Update

AGFC Trout / Stream folks will be presenting their Trout Management Plan update for approval to commissioners next week. The approval process includes all info retrieved from the recent public workshops and feedback.

You might like to take a moment and send AGFC a clear point of view on key issues that are important to the fisheries as seen by Trout Unlimited:

• extending catch & release area below Rim Shoals
• maintain Brown trout length limit 24"
• expanding protection on Cutthroat trout
• support of overall trout diversity in the White & North Fork
• support of all regulations regarding habitat/water quality
• support programs that monitor dissolved oxygen and threaten our trout population
