Fun Fishing

Got a buddy who's Father-n-law guides on Taneycomo , Bruce Curtis who owns Payable Guide Service.  He has been after me to go fishing with him for a few months now so yesterday Heath, Smiley and myself finally hooked up and went out for some fun fishing. Fished from fall creek down to the landing and down past Roark creek never fished that area  just duck hunted it, I sure wish duck season was open though lots of Wood Ducks around:) I can honestly say I have never trolled for trout in my life. What a fun day we had nothing big except for one big bass that my buddy smiley caught. Keeping the line bouncing on the bottom about 100 foot behind the boat was no easy feat with no generation but with the kicker motor set on cruise control we had no worries. You may have seen his boat out on the lake it is a Wooldridge and has all the rods all over the back and top. Here is a pic of the bass that Smiley caught on a husky jerk. I will say this those Trout sure love that pink power bait. Never thought I would ever be able to say that in a fishing report😂😂 it was a good time for sure!!
