Anyone been crappie fishing this week?

I'm thinking about heading out tonight or maybe morning. Just wondering what the reports are depth or any help would be appreciated. I'll report back. THANKS

Found a couple in 30 ft of water. Temp was 55 degrees.

I am not very good at it.

A friend of mine said he caught 17 keepers and 8 shorts yesterday in 22 to 26 feet of water.  He said he was casting plastics with 1/8 oz jig heads.

We had 16 keepers Saturday afternoon and 8 keepers Sunday morning. 16'-20' in brush piles in the Ruark area. We kept 8 each day.

I didn't get a chance to go this weekend, but I was in Bud's bait shop yesterday and they said guy came in yesterday with a report he caught a limit every morning before noon. 3 straight days. They said they were catching them between 6-20 feet.

been limiting out on pomme every time I go lately.....not big but keepers.

Yes Dan that's the place. They have your favorite spoons and stuff people actually catch fish with in that place. They are always really helpful in what people are catching fish on. They mentioned that the shad hatch this year was really good on Stockton.

You are right good place. 

It reminds me of the small tackle shops of my childhood (before the giants took over), a lot of great stuff in a small area.

They started carrying Binks Spoons at my request, I am sure they do that with other people too. 

You can't help interacting with others.

I get all my crappie stuff there. Fantastic selection of all crappie baits.  If you ask for it he will probably do his best to get whatever you ask for. All my spinning reels are from there.
