Dkman Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 I had planned to head up to fish this Friday and Saturday. Before I make the 90 minute drive does anyone know the ice situation? I had planned to put in at either Greenfield or Ruark. Thanks for any info you may have.

Members livingtofish Posted December 28, 2017 Members Posted December 28, 2017 All you guys be careful out on the water, one little slip and if you fall in there is no one to help. I wouldn't recommend fishing alone in winter. Had a good friend go over a few years ago and the good Lord was looking out for him and someone heard his cries. Doesn't make any difference if your the worlds best swimmer with 35 degree water it will only take minutes. straw hat, terryj1024, wtr dogs and 1 other 2 2
Members jwilson48 Posted December 29, 2017 Members Posted December 29, 2017 We went to mutton today and no ice at the ramp. Water temp still 40 degrees. only ice we saw was shallow backwater and the ice on our rod eyes! Good luck!
