Is there Suckers in the river before it gets in Truman Lake? I thought I seen some one time.

I know they are in the Sac River up from Truman oneshot. It would be hard to believe they are not in the Pomme,

They are probaby endemic in about all ozark streams.  I have gigged in he Pomme below the dam and above as well.  Have caught or snagged a few in the creeks as well.

Where I was thinking is you go past Sapps Landing and there is Conservation Land up river from Sapps, gets shallower and gravelly there. Seen Gigging going on just up from Sapps and always figured they was mostly Gigging Carp but I rather catch Suckers.

Oh the Lake is good there at Sapps for Catfish and on down for Crappie.

What is crazy I'm thinking going here while staying at our Cabin by Fairfield Ramp and there is great fishing right there. What is funny several go up below the Dam from there but most locals I know stay away from there.
