navery Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Does anyone know if shadow rock or k dock are usable? By the gauge, it looks like they have been running water pretty regularly so I would think it would be open, but would appreciate info before dragging the boat 1.5 hours. Thanks in advance
Seth Clarkson Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I'm wondering the same thing. I've heard it's pretty tough to put in at the park right now just because the water is so low and the river run side is blocked off. I assume K dock should be good to go. I'm just not sure if I should go to bull or table rock.
JohnP Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 All ramps, other than River Run due to bridge construction project, and the main lake is open. Shadowrock would be hard to put in due to the water level but Beaver Creek Ramp and K Dock Ramps were both open and accessible yesterday afternoon. The creeks were froze tho for the most part but id imagine that they are thawing pretty quick.
J.M. Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Fished K Dock today it is open. Didn't do very well but it was good to get out. terryj1024 1
navery Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Thanks for the info guys. I will try Beaver. I was able to launch my deep v at shadow rock a couple of weeks ago but had to wear knee high muck boots to do it.
Royal Blue Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Put in at K dock yesterday. Only one other truck in the lot. Saw a handful of boats, but no one was really even getting bit. Threw an A rig almost all afternoon with nothing to show for it. No bites on the jerkbaits and only one lousy bite on a jig that came off at the boat. Tough day.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 22, 2018 Root Admin Posted January 22, 2018 Duane is there today - out of K Dock. Fighting the wind. We'll see how they do.

We saw one boat at the roll off catch a fish almost immediately, but it was literally the only fish I saw all day other than the one that I lost at the boat.
