Members Lakeit Posted March 6, 2018 Author Members Posted March 6, 2018 Pb&j works well for me as well! I also have success with a all brown jig
Unimog Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Are you guys throwing pb&j primarily fishing the mid to upper end of the lake?
Members G3Boater Posted March 6, 2018 Members Posted March 6, 2018 I love purple on jerkbaits for some reason. Purple Passion is a phenomenal color from megabass (it only comes in the slow floating jerkbait). I have found that shad patterns don't work that great for me for some reason. I also like colors that have a subtle orange on the belly. Flysmallie 1

Outside of jigs, plastics this is it. Basschomper 1

Ketchup Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 Jigs dont work on Stockton. Thats a TR bait. Better stick to 8" swimbaits up here. Mhyde 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Walcrabass Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Here are some words from an old guy........................... What color Jerk Bait is best?????? The one you are fishing with................... Only stipulation might be flashy ones on clear day and clear water, dull or natural colors on other days/ water. I have seen the Rebel Tennessee Shad pattern make fools of other fishermen in the boat, I have seen the Clown Rogue pattern make fools of other fishermen in the boat, I have seen the Black/Silver or Blue/Silver make fools of other fishermen in the boat. I have seen the $30 Jerk baits make fools of a lot of other Fishermen ( for buying them that is............) Just look at the sky, look at the water, and make a good decision. Then fish them in many different ways until you find what they want. Walcrabass
Members Bigfishscott Posted April 4, 2018 Members Posted April 4, 2018 The best bait or baits to throw are....... THE ONES YOU HAVE THE MOST CONFIDENCE IN!!! Period!!! bassfisher2017, Basschomper and Lifes2Short 3
