Dan the fisherman Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 I went out yesterday looking for smallies. Unfortunately I didn’t get any. But I did get a 15 pound striper, a Bass , and s few whites. Jerk bait was the ticket. Water temp was 50. I fished From RB and to the dam. Lance34, Blll and Stump bumper 3

Quillback Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Good deal! Did you go back in Indian Creek at all? Just curious as to the water color back there. Well curious as to what you saw as far as water color in the general area around the dam also. Much in the way of floating debris? Dan the fisherman 1
Blll Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Hey Dan, did that striper hit the jerk bait? That must have been nuts on bass tackle. Any size to the whites? Nice day!
Members YakSlacker Posted March 10, 2018 Members Posted March 10, 2018 Went out last night, put in at Ventris. Little choppy just at sun down but water was calm within an hour. WT 50. Worked 10-20 FOW following the bank to the tip of that peninsula where Ventris Road Ends. Really really thought I might run in to some “eyes”. I was running Smithwick and HJ14safew feet off the bottom and bouncing a red headed fluke with chartreuse tail whenever I ran across a rocky area. Not a bite. On the return journey, moved out to stay between 20 and 40 FOW kinda figure 8’d the course, staggering some umbrella rigs and then switching back to the Rogue and Husky jerk. I marked some fish surprisingly deep in the channels and that was about it. Was a very nice evening to be on the water but I was not a good fisherman last night.

I didn’t go to Indian creek. I also didnt see much Debris. Looked pretty safe out there. Water looks good to. It’s a little cloudy but not bad Quillback 1

The whites were very big. And fat too. Id say they were all 2 pound or more
Blll Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Awesome. Our whole dock tore away again with the gale last week so no power to dock. But I will figure out a way to get at em this week for certain.
Ozark Flyer Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Nice, I was obviously on the wrong end of the lake..
