Huge rain today in the Beaver Lake headwaters.  Lake is only 2.2 feet below flood stage now.  Rapid rise coming.

* Until 145 PM CDT

* At 1046 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
the advisory area. 2 to 3 inches of rainfall fell overnight and an
additional 1 to 2 inches will be possible.

4" has already fallen in SE Washington county, that's enough to top the dam very soon.

the white at fayetteville is out of its banks. expect a fast moving mud line & loads of debris. 

I might go fish the lower end on sunday.

Again, this wasn't forecasted.  Just kept curling around and hitting us over and over.  We're in our 4th round, and last.  Just under 3 inches here.  Looks like Short Creek was blown out... full sized, big trees floating by the dock presently.

Generation on Taneycomo was off one day... that's going to be it for a long time now.

plus the 3500 cfs coming from the generators, so its over 11,000 total cfs at the moment.
