Ham Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Looking for Tips on using my R & V fish fryer. I know Little Red Fisherman has one. I have several other friends with them. I’ve read through the Owners Manual and it seems pretty straight forward, but I had questions about storing oil, filtering oil, how long to use the oil. I plan on using Peanut oil. Selective Harvest of a renewable resource, but no smallmouth will be cooked in this cooker. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
rps Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Use a coffee filter to filter your oil. Store it in a refrigerator or as cool a dark place as you can create. Smell it before you use it, If it has gone rancid your nose will tell you so.
