Well a little different. Pulled up on my most recent spot that I have caught a few walleye recently.  Tried jigging raps for the first hour of the day. Caught 3 in short order one was a 21.5 incher.  Switched to bb and very tough. Had 3 over the next 4 hrs.  Finally decided to try another spot yes I was stubborn..  Pulled in bottom bounced imediately caught a short. Then lost I a big big one at the boat. Got a little miffed so started jigging rappin again caught 4 more keepers pretty quickly. And another short. Ended with 8 keepers and 4 shorts. Best bite was 20 to 25 ft.   Made a tough day a pretty good one by the end. Fished 6 to 7 hrs.

Good for you. I'll prob. try Binks spoons ,I've had pretty good luck with them.I have a hard time keeping the jigging raps from tangling with the treble hook .Might take the treble off and try them.

As always enjoy your reports,Thanks for sharing,Mike

Yes I had the same problem. But I got some new rods and decided to just put mono on them, Instead of braid or floro and only had 2 roll overs and line wrap around the treble.  And I jigging rapped for at least 2 hrs. So I was very pleased.

Sounds like you had a pretty good day. I have some jig raps may give it a whirl tomorrow.  I am bound and determined to figure them out.  Thx for the report.  RM
