September bass fishing

Hi, I'm planning on coming back to Pomme to go bass fishing in a couple of weeks.  I've fished Pomme a couple of times before and like the lake but never really had a lot of luck there.  What are the conditions like now?  Any ideas?

Conditions are lake is just below normal pool, water is clear and was showing 79° water temp this morning. That being said we didn't do very good on bass this morning but we caught 5 muskie and had 2 more blow up on top water.

Wow, that’s pretty good for the fish of a 1000 cast as they say. Caught a couple on topwater down there and the strikes are awesome!

Yeah they definitely have an awesome strike on top water.

That's every bass fisherman's nightmare to have a muskie bust on your $15 topwater lure.  😥

I see that there is some rain coming this week and next week hopefully raising the lake.

Hopefully it will come up but so far the rains we have gotten haven't raised it a bit.

Will take a hard rain to get the creeks flowing again.

The rain we got was just soaking rain. Great for crops and the grass, but creeks are still dry here.

Creeks are flowing now. Lake is up about 6 inches so far, likely still rising. Had a good rain today.

It looks like there will be more rain next weekend when I will be fishing there.
