Which guide would you recommend

A good friend of mine was looking at taking a family vacation to the lake and was asking if I knew of any good guides in the area.  I normally fish Table rock and know several good guides there but was hoping some of the folks on this forum could help point my friend in the right direction.   

Which striper guide would you recommend?

Are there any guides for walleye or bass on the lake?

There’s several on the lake.  I would think most if not all would be pretty good, but can’t personally comment sense I’ve never been on a guide here on beaver.

Ive been striper fishing Beaver annually for about 20 years now and have used Beaver Fever NUMEROUS times.  Don Andreasen knows the lake and almost always will get you on fish without fail.  I would say you can’t go wrong with Don, although I would encourage your friend to ensure he is with Don and not one of his guys.

I’ve fished with Don ,he catches fish but the attitude wasn’t how I believe a guide should be.....I follow Bailey on Facebook and he puts them in the boat....As Alumacraft said make sure it’s Don you fish , my father in law has fished with Don a few times but got stuck with on of his other guys and he was very disappointed .

I do have to agree with Ron on the attitude part.  Don’s always treated us very well, but I can easily understand why others may not have the same viewpoint.  I guess I would say if you want your best chance at fish he’s your guy but if you also want to be educated and share some laughter then probably 50/50 with him.  There are probably others who look to inform and engage better than him.
