DIY Asphalt Sealing

Anyone have any recommendations for sealing asphalt yourself.  I've looked at Lowes and Home Depot products and am not impressed.  I think I'd like to use a petro-based product.  I don't think a water based sealant would work - ever.

Years ago we rented a trailer with a hot mix sealant to seal our church parking lot but that company is no longer in biz.

We use bituminous coatings for pipe piles all the time.  Might try calling a Sherwin Williams location for it.  They might even have a customer they could recommend too.
