Not a lot to report. Fished from noon to 4:00. Only a few small fish. Water temp 74.

The Bikers, Blues, and Barbecue weekend has attracted a crowd here in Holiday Island.

at least the wakes are not too bad when they are at rest.

got hit with one last night as I was not paying  attention, wave came over the front of the boat big time - the only funny part of this is that I had my 18 month old lab with me (training him to not be a pain in the boat for his first upcoming duck season) and he was in the front of the boat and got tsunamied.  Couldn't fish much as I was dealing with the dog but did catch one short Ky in 30 fow on a chunk rock point - I noted that the bite was incredibly light.

Question - Do you think that the new fish locators can take a soaking like the a wave coming over them - I may call humminbird.

they are supposed to be weather proof otherwise they would not function in the rain.  however, i do know that some of them have seal issues.
