FishermanTodd Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Where have all the goggle eye gone? I have caught 60< smallies this winter and not one goggle eye. I wanna catch some and bring it back up to college for my STL buddies to try. Was gonna bring crappie but struggled today with my dad on LOZ. Hoping to find some goggle eye in the next few days.
fishinwrench Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Take about 20 steps upstream from the mouth of the spring branch. Throw something worm-like into that shelfrock deep hole there. Or, drop in at Prosperine, paddle up about 100 yards and fish something worm-like around the boulders and wood cover on river-right.

Thank you, I will try them both today. Should I try real worms are stay with something like a zoom trick worm?
fishinwrench Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 A GP Zoom finesse worm on a Brewer slider head will definitely catch them. Anything similar will likely be just as good. FishermanTodd 1
