slothman Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 I’m heading to Pomme tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone had any bass fishing reports? The water level looks to be about 11-12 feet high right now. I’ll probably start somewhere around the 64-b area, but could end up anywhere. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Pm’s Are good too if you don’t want to disclose anything publicly. Thanks!
fishinwrench Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 I hammered 'em once upon a time when it was 7' over normal pool by fishing the "erosion break" of the original shoreline with a jig (hula grub). It was the best day I ever had on Pomme, 17lbs and some change. They were holding tight to that eroded stairstep of the original shoreline.
slothman Posted May 22, 2019 Author Posted May 22, 2019 Update: it was SUPER tough. I managed a couple of dinks back in the bushes with a spinnerbait and one just a bit shy of 2 lbs. flipping a creature bait into a bush. I also found a few white bass on my spinnerbait back in the trees in the back of a cove too. Otherwise, pretty slow. It was fairly clear near the dam and got considerably more murky the further I went up the lindley.
Ranger520vx Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 That's kind of the reports I have been hearing. slothman 1
