On The Fly 6
Would anyone be interested in donating some flies for a school fly fishing club? We are located in Rogers, and right now we have 12 anglers. We will be targeting warm water species until the weather cools down, and then we will be targeting trout. If you’d be willing to tie and donate, our anglers and myself would greatly appreciate it! Send me a message and I’ll give you the school address! Thanks in advance everyone! fshndoug
The kids would really enjoy tying their own flies.you might get in touch with the local Trout unlimited chapter and the Missouri TroutFisherman chapter in Springfield Mo about some flytying material donations. Members Tim McDougald
Were you looking for specific types of flies (dry flies, nymphs, etc.)? Or were you looking for whatever people had available?

And they will. Getting that lined out. But they’ll need several to fish with until they get into tying their own! Thanks! budman
Glad to see you got the flies. Hope they get some use soon. Hope you get more to fill several more boxes. Share any pictures that you can of you students while they learn to fish. Hope you can get someone local to teach them how to tie some of their own. Makes fishing and catching fish more satisfying.
