Blue Spring

Anyone ever fish up around Blue Spring in the winter?  It’s not too far away and wondered if it was worth he trip up river!  Thanks.

I have.  Honestly that area fishes about the same as the rest of the river, you'll blank there just as often as you'll score.  Some resident trout hang around but you aren't likely to find many Smallies piled up there during Winter because of the absence of a deep slow pool nearby.

So IMO it's not worth the struggle to specifically get there from a downstream location.
