Largely though there is really only maybe 10 people on the TRL forum that actually provide reports. Maybe 3-5 that provide far more information than normal. There is certainly a lot of guys on here that fish Beaver but those guys don't report. It takes us 3 months to find a group of bass on Beaver. So we aren’t as quick to let everyone know. But it wouldn’t matter because the bass would move out before the report posts lol. In all honesty, it’s such a tough lake to pattern for an extended period, a report is nothing more than historical info. Personally, I need to spend more time out there marking brush offshore. I know a lot of action happens out there all summer.

Historical data is even better, I cant count the times I've been able to research historical actions on here and go out and duplicate things years later during certain times often in different areas. @Quillback I have tried to duplicate his striper success based on historical reports. Otherwise I would just be in the dark(not that I'm much more enlightened now). Reports can often be as simple as water temps, what your tried, where you launched, what happened that day. Heck sometimes even non-target species. JMCat 1

But I agree, even bad reports and the depth they were fishing is useful.
Quillback Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 I haven't been fishing Beaver lately, 2 years ago the smallmouth fishing was really good down by the dam. Thought I was on to something, but haven't been able to get them like I did then, so I just have been going over to Table Rock or fishing the Bella Vista lakes. I do like to fish Beaver when the stripers are hitting top waters which usually starts in May. I do plan to get out on Indian creek sometime in the near future, I'll give a report, good or bad.
Blll Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 I've been on the forum for 5 years. I live on Beaver with a slip so that is where i fish. Certainly not an easy lake but this forum taught me a lot in the beginning. Most of the frequent reporters are gone. I learned how to striper fish from Fin&feathers and his antics with doc were fun reading and informative. DanTF was another I learned from. I'm not sure why they have stopped posting but perhaps they got dogged for their reports. Anyway I try to report as I can. October tornado took a lot out of me and I haven't fished since. But trying to get the fire started again. Good luck to all and thanks to Lance & Quill and those who do report. Lance34 1
Members JMCat Posted March 5, 2020 Author Members Posted March 5, 2020 I dont mind reporting but it will most likely be what not to do. Going this weekend, so I should have something by early next week. I did hear from some guys that the water temp was 51 at twin bridges. Lots of people looking for walleye and white bass up there. Also heard people are having some success on the wart but not as good as one would want to dedicate the whole day to it. Lots of boats are going to be out this weekend, so everyone be safe.
Members JMCat Posted March 9, 2020 Author Members Posted March 9, 2020 We didn’t have much luck Saturday. One on a jig and three on ARig. All were shallow hitting baits within first few cranks of reel. Tried rockcrawler but no luck. Water was muddy in Ventris and we ran down to monte me. Still muddy so we ran back up to Rambo. some guys that did well said they got on the right bank late in afternoon and caught them all on a wart. Boat sitting in about 12 ft with fish hitting it close to the bank. Quillback 1
