looks like either a stone fly or a dobson fly. still looking in to it.

A dobson fly is a helgramite I am leaning toward a a stone fly though.

I have no phd in bugs.

I'm not so sure DD.

Wish I could see it with its wings at rest. Does the Dobsonfly have the long antenna? been a long time since I've seen one ... out of Helgie form.

Dobsonflys also have noticable PINCHERS...bigguns. I'm thinkin' it's a Stonefly. But then again, something about it doesn't look aquatic.

Looks like a Stonefly to me, however very little do I know about bugs other than they are good fishbait!

Yes you are right after I got home and looked in my bug books from college that was going to be my conclusion.

A #4 hook and some zap-a-gap would work real good.(LOL)
