bwcballer10 Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Put in at Taylor and went up river above the s curves this morning. Found lots of fish scattered a little bit of everywhere, no big concentration in any one spot but I did catch 50 or 51 with 20 of those being the little dink males. It was a fantastic way to spend my Tuesday! Ham, mke22, BilletHead and 1 other 4
bologna Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 Dang, was wondering how the cold front affected them. Thanks for posting.
bologna Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Fished below the railroad bridge tonight for a short time caught about 20 males on white jig and a keeper crappie mke22 1
Jhoff Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 @bwcballer10 Thank you for getting my sons lure unhung and for posting accurate info as far as how the fishing is. We didn't slay them by any means but we each had a limit and it was a beautiful day to be outside.
bwcballer10 Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 No problem, happy to help any way that I can. It sounds like the fishing turned on a little bit at least towards dark. The 2 guys that were with me don't fish very often but I could only manage 9 whites and a walleye yesterday. They added a couple more whites and walleye so it definitely could have been a worse day. Hopefully we still have a couple weeks of whites in the river and hopefully this warm weather this week will help to make it more consistent. Good luck everyone!
bologna Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Fished way above Taylor today, didn't do well at all. It's a long story but if anyone finds a red bionic blade pole with a new Shimano reel on it I'll pay a finders fee 😣 would be about where the s curves are BilletHead 1
navery Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 If it makes you feel any better, one of my 4 year old daughters let go of a carbonlite rod and pfleuger patriarch reel($320+tax for both) 3 weeks ago while reeling in a hybrid at Truman. She got scared and thought it was going to pull her in, lol. Luckily they dropped the lake 6 feet and I was able to find it a week later. I would suggest going back and looking when the water level goes down. You will probably find it if someone else doesn't first.
