No your thinking is correct.  Boat/motor techs (like me) know about as much about trailers as they know about front wheel drive Subaru's....and they'll charge you tech rate labor to mess with it.    

I have to do some extensive work to a Crestliner trailer.   I tried to tell the guy that he'd be better off taking it to a tire shop..... but he likes ME and wants ME to do it. 🙄 

It's gonna cost him!  But he says "that's ok".  We'll see. 😅

Thanks for the honest response. I’ll be sure to look for a trailer shop. Now I hope it doesn’t need parts bc that’s a whole other can of worms with Ranger right now!

look at your local phone book there is at least one  trailer sales and service on US62 in I think Garfield, or just take few minutes and drive over to Gateway and back there may be two trailer dealers on that road

There is also a RV trailer dealer on 62 near the Rogers airport, but I don't know if they do any service.
