Thinking about going next week

Well since I am in Missouri this year for the winter, I am thinking about running up to Twain next week for a couple days.

Any tips? As there have not been any post about fishing Mark Twain in a while.

Boy I am sure going to miss Central Texas this year.

Ya and the wife really dislikes the cold. If she gets to crabby, I may decide to head to Texas by myself and just leave her here. I am usually wearing shorts most days down there in the winter. Maybe 6 or 7 nights below 32* and 1 week that it does not get out of the 40's. Outside of Austin I can be on 8 plus lakes in an hour. 2 hours another 5 lakes and 3 to 4 hours another 8 plus lakes. All good quality lakes and sum superior, trophy lakes.

All I can say is this COVID monkey dodo has changed my life.

We have a house up here since 2017 that we built and one in Texas. Lived in Texas since 1993. Son lives up here and we spend spring and fall up here normally, Still traveling some in the summer and stay in Texas for the winter. Also was born and raised here in Jefferson County.

Still looking for some sort of report, on how the lake is fishing and the condition.
