As FishnDave said, you really have to stay out of the water --- especially when it is low like in your video.   That is probably why you didn't see any fish either.  They head for cover and they are very good at hiding until you are long gone.

The fish will cooperate though if you got your stealth and your presentation game going.  They aren't too picky even.  

The spring is actually on the Salvation Army grounds in one of those ponds, so you can't go in there, but you can hike up to about a hundred yards of where the waterfall from the pond dumps in.
