MTM Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I just got "Arkansas Fishing" in the mail. I just ordered it over the internet from the state. In it they say that the state record Gar is an Alligator Gar that weighed in at 240 pds caught in the White River on 07/28/04 by John Stortz of St Charles Akransas. Now that is one big fish. WOW. Ron
