Seth Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 I fished for catfish Saturday night and never caught anything. Only talked to a few people that had caught anything, one guy caught a 20 pounder and some other people had one blue that was 33 pounds. I heard that the Corps were going to bring barges into get rid of all of the wood and debris from Truman as soon as the water crested.
BrianK Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Yeah, I was just saying on the Bagnell Tailwater discussion.... Imagine if Truman Dam wasn't there....LOZ really would have been devastated this spring. I may try to get down to Bagnell tonite to see what is going on down there. They'll be running 11 or 12 gates for a while it looks like. bk
brownieman Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 You have to go tothe east side and try to stick about a 4 or 5 oz. weight where you can...not very far out or move way downstream. I fished it a couple of months ago and had to use 2 to 3 oz. spoons...was like fishing in a tornado. Did catch a few big hybrids...don't have to tell you how they faught in a current like that...MAN !...hard fishing but worth the catch I did bring home 3...big birds will put some meat in the freezer...biggest one about 15, smallest about 10...pretty nice ones but you earned every one, lol My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? Avatar...mister brownie bm <><
