I also am curious from the more experienced people on table rock. Everyone says as the sun gets higher is the time to move to drop shot fishing. My experience has been that it is good right after good daylight and slows down as the day goes on. Is this different than most people's experience?

I used to fish the drop shot quite a bit, but not so much lately.  My 2 cents on the time of day thing is that early in the morning I tend to fish other stuff like top water, jigs, etc.  then once that stuff slows down I may start to look around for drop shot fish.  But even if I find some, I agree with you that it does slow down, especially in the summer as the day goes on.  Doesn't help that the pleasure boats get fired up later in the morning too and that will run me off.
