Fishing powersite and below September 20 week

my son and I are attending my bil 60th the 19th then headed to table rock. 

Plan is to fish Taney Como and below powersite Dam from boat. 

Any striper info would be appreciated. 

Question?  Is it legal to use trout for striper bait?  They love them in TN.
