Nick Adams Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I watched a nice documentary of Joe Humphreys today and looked up his Cress Bug, which is a scud as best as I can tell. Caveats: I suck at dubbing. I couldn't find my wax so I used a glue stick. It's a size 10 nymph Daiichi 2170, few wraps of led, grey scud dubbing, and grizzly hackle trimmed. Seems appropriate for Crane Creek since I see so much watercress there and it's similar to those Pennsylvania streams Humphreys fished. Daryk Campbell Sr 1

Brian K. Shaffer Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Those Cress bugs are fantastic.. great job! Now go get them wet. Nick Adams 1 Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
