oneshot Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 I got a New IPHONE so I could load onX GPS. I had changed Credit Cards so they couldn’t just reload. Cost $30. My wife said I might as well delete it because I’m no longer hunting. 🙄 I have been exercising getting in shape to maybe go hunting. I have a GPS but it only shows State Lands not Federal. oneshot
jdmidwest Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Try Road Hunting, Google Maps has a good app for that. Don't even have to get out of the car, or truck. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Terrierman Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Road hunting for rabbits. Much easier to load. Plus no decoy problems. Back when I was a poor starving college student, popping two or three rabbits in the head when the snow was on was a big part of Sunday dinner. So, guilty, road hunter, I confess.

I always did the rabbits in yards in town with a Crosman 177 pistol. Nighttime after work when most were asleep. Back in the starving college days when smoked oysters, mushroom soup and rice were a good meal. Use to kill plenty Rabbits and Quail Green and Polk counties. No longer there. My wife was going on about price of meat. Guess we’ll eat more Squirrels and Fish. oneshot
