MObassin95 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Hey all! I, as many others do, enjoy fishing the James River. Just thought I would liven up the topic alittle and ask: If you had just one day to fish, would you hit the upper James or the lower? Without giving honey holes away which section would you target for a day of fishing? I personally would go lower James, because there's more water. Curious what everyone else would do! Bass Yakker 1
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Depends how lower your talking about. Its a circus from Bridgeport up to McCords with all the snaggers, white bassers and guys after crappie. I did that yesterday but stayed around Bridgeport and Flat creek. Its a lot of people to deal with and if your in a Yak i would stay away, everyone plowing water making the biggest wakes they can MObassin95 and Bass Yakker 1 1

All sections have their advantages/disadvantages, I don’t think you can make a bad decision. I know where I would go but it’s only because I know that area the best, which would be no advantage to you. Bass Yakker 1
Flysmallie Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Changed my mind. If you are going soon I would do upper. But that’s based off the current flows and the way I like to fish. MObassin95 and Bass Yakker 2
