This may be a dumb question, but looking for a new adventure.  Has anyone kayaked or floated from Blunks to Walnut Springs?  If so, how many hours does it take?  I thought this might be interesting/fun way to fish for whites and crappie.

Depends on your paddling speed and how much you fish. Not much current at all. Very lake like conditions. Also be weary of bass boats flying up and down the river. I've been very close to being hit in my canoe around Blunks. 

The fishing can be good though, so it would be worth the venture! Recommend going during the week.

Thanks for the feedback. Probably should just stick to the boat in that area and go with the kayak further up.
