Dutch Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 It is north of edge island and with the flow coming out of the dam and south it may be all the way to the dam by Saturday. Old dog 417 1

Heretolearn Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Any updates on water clarity? Specifically, how far down the lake it is murky. I am hoping to make to Stockton this week for the first time since March. Thanks!

I am hoping to make to Stockton this week for the first time since March. Thanks! The water color is good above hawker point. We put in at crabtree yesterday and fished until 5. Alot of boats out yesterday, so we didn’t run around too much. We didn’t really need to though. Fished the flooded bushes with creature baits and 7” worms. I love catching them in the bushes. We also targeted any isolated trees in 4 to 5 feet of water. They are definitely biting right now. blacknoseddace, Heretolearn, grizwilson and 1 other 2 2
Dutch Posted May 15, 2022 Author Posted May 15, 2022 Some nice ones there. Were those brown fish in the brush or just the green ones? I poured some flukes yesterday and plan to use them on top of brush for a while and see if any will come up. If not then I’ll go down.

The browns were shallow on the isolated trees, not in the bushes. I tried spinnerbait and weedless swimbait, but got nothing. My wife threw a swim worm and kicked my butt. Heretolearn 1
Targa98 Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 Anybody been up this week. Curious on water color around Ruark/Mutton as opposed to up North around the Dam. Gonna go up there in the next couple days and cant decide North or south. A little over an hour to get there so any help will save me looking time. Lol
