Hot Day out of 39 Bridge

Fished club tournament 5:30-1:30, I ran to a creek arm that I had found fish in 3 weeks ago, wasn’t sure there were any there due to the steady drop of the lake, however they were! Caught 7 keepers and 7 shorts, short fish were all 14 7/8 just shy of keeping!  All but 2 were caught on top waters!  1 on a spoon and 1 on a 10 inch power worm. This was all in the first 3 hours fishing the shade lines. After that I couldn’t throw dynamite in the lake to catch one. Threw jigs and flipped spoons in docks and nothing.  14 lbs won, our best 5 was 12lbs.  Drink plenty of fluids everybody! Wt: 86-87. It’s not even July and August yet!
