My friends and I are headed to Spring Creek in mid-August. What are the best lures for that timeframe? We will be kayaking and fishing from the bank using spinning rods. Thanks in advance.

They have been stocking pretty good from reports.  Crawdad cranks and rooster tails work for me.  They have cleared both sides of river now and are developing more houses.  Not much to look at any more.

Do yall use any of the Mepps Inline Spinners? If so, which ones? There is to many for my pea brain to determine what's best.
