Dutch Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Have any of you been up toward the Hwy 39 bridge? I’m planning to go there Monday but haven’t been in a very long time.
waterpossum Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Lake is 3' below normal. It can be done, but at a slow speed. Night fishing is ok. Day not so much.
Dutch Posted August 22, 2022 Author Posted August 22, 2022 I figure the lower water might make navigation easier by showing more of the stickups. I for sure won’t be moving very fast. waterpossum 1
waterpossum Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Did you make it today? I saw only 5 or 6 rigs at Ruark whenI passed at 7:15 on the way to Dr. in Bolivar
Dutch Posted August 23, 2022 Author Posted August 23, 2022 Nope. My fishing partner had to do job interviews so we are going this morning. waterpossum 1
MOPanfisher Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Was at Ruark yesterday for a few hours trolling for walleye. White bass went nuts about daylight, not big ones but there was a lot. Walleye didn't cooperate though.
