Launched at 6am out of Cedar Ridge. Started at the point in Maze and had my first fish on the second cast, a chunky 16” on top.  Caught a few more largemouth and smallies in the first 150 yards, all in 5’ or shallower.   Moved up on the same bank switching over to a drop shot, and caught several more smallies and largemouths.

Best today for my 2 hours out was almost 18”. I had 6 keepers total, 5 largemouth and 1 smallie. Total of 13 bass.  All drop shot fish came off of timber.

Here are my typical go to drop shot colors. The past few weeks I can’t get bit on anything but the Morning Dawn color. They love that color early in the day. 8C81B99F-236B-4120-8C83-2002B629F27C.jpeg
