My son is wanting a deer cam and my grand daughters are going to buy him 1 or 2 cams, He is wanting one that he can retrieve on his phone.

There are cell towers in site distance and cell phone reception is good everywhere. He has ATT, I believe.

Any recommendations would be great.

Thanks

Cell cams have come down a lot in price. I bought a Stealthcam Fusion X this year, been out since September and I haven't had any issues with it yet. Cell reception is pretty poor here, especially on ATT which is what that camera uses, but it seems to work pretty reliably on two bars.

I've used Moultrie in the past and had good luck with them. Academy had a pretty good deal on one a while back but I'm not sure if it's still going on, I believe that one used Verizon.

I experimented with some cheap Tasco's two years ago, most of them went in the dumpster after they proved to be unreliable. Nothing worse than coming back to a dead camera that was working fine when you left it.

Ive got 3 Muddy Manifest 2 that i like. Day and night pictures are pretty good, and pictures come thru to my phone within 2 minutes of being taken. No complaints with these.
