2/15/23 Cape Fair

It is dingy with small floating debris.  I fished Piney.  It was tough.  I only had 11 bites all day.  I threw the swimbait a lot and got no love.  I threw Ned had 2 bites and caught 1 of them.  Shaky was by far the best. I had 9 bites and caught 6 of them.  They were in about 10 fow.  I couldn’t find any deep.  The best bait was a ZinkerZ in coppertreuse rigged weedless on a VMC 2/0 hook.

I was out with Tom W. up the White and it was slow for us too.  We caught 18 between the two of us, almost all spots, 4 were keepers but barely.  Swimbaits were the best with a couple on Ned rigs and a couple on jigs.

One heckuva nice day however, but it looks like back to the cooler for a few days.
