Dutch Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Are they on the rise or being stocked? I have been fishing this lake for a very long time and only caught some sub legals once in Flat Creek just above Pt. 15. I used to only hear about them up in the King’s River. This past week while fishing with Jeff I caught 1 and he caught 3 nice keepers in the Big M area. Wednesday while fishing with Jeff again I caught one near Piney. Yesterday I was trying out some swim bait jigs with weed guard and caught a 4# between Campbell Point and Baxter. What’s the story?
Quillback Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 I know (unless things have changed recently), that AGFC no longer stocks walleye in the Kings or White. Their net sampling in the Kings and White during the spawn indicated a very strong and healthy population of fish. I don't know if MDC does any stocking.

Dutch Posted April 15, 2023 Author Posted April 15, 2023 Interesting but no Table Rock Stocking. I once saw them stock on Stockton. They were barely 1” long. I’m betting a low % of them survived.

Sounds like we’re in great shape if they are using TR for a breeding ground. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
